Lewchew - Southeast Asia Relations

Lewchew had extensive relations with the Ayuthaya Kingdom covering what is now modern day Thailand, Myanmar (also known as Burma), Cambodia, Laos, and part of modern day Malaysia.

The term Southeast Asia also usually refers to the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei, though in this case those areas will be covered in other sections.

Lewchew also had relations with the historic powers of Annam and Champa (modern day Vietnam), though their relations were strained due to the latter two's poor relations with China.
